Back From Disney World and Happy 4th!

Sat Jul 4, 2009, 1:09 PM
  • Mood: Lonely
  • Listening to: Gold Lion by The Yeah Yeah Yeahs
  • Reading: The Elfstones of Shannara
  • Watching: True Blood
  • Playing: BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger
  • Eating: Lemon Cookies
So I got back from Disney World yesterday evening and I must say that it was both amazing and tiring. We went to the Magic Kingdom, the Animal Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios (formerly MGM), and Epcot (twice). I took a ton of pictures (that I will probably be throwing up on Facebook at some point this week), saw a bunch of cool things, and have a few hilarious tales to tell (to those who are interested).

As a note, if you ever go down to Disney World and you are staying at the Floridays Resort (yes, Floridays) then be ready to search out a wireless connection at one of their amenities. Seriously, a nice place like that doesn't have internet access in the rooms? Sheesh.

So anyway, enjoy your fourth of July everyone! My family is out of town so I have the whole house to myself for about a week, which I am still split on whether or not that is a good or bad thing. On the plus side, I get to basically do whatever I want without any questions asked (not that too many questions had to be asked before), but on the minus side I have to make sure my house doesn't explode or anything and that my dog stays fed and happy. Oh, and I'll probably be eating buttered rice, ramen, or whatever I can find for Fourth of July dinner. Sigh...

You are Van Gogh Google: You are deep and thoughtful and creative and sometimes can be lonely. You may not be arty like Van Gogh himself but singing, painting, drawing, writing, dancing and playing an instrument are all forms of art too. Sometimes you may feel lonely but you always have an escape from it all through your art form, whatever it may be. People love you for your intelligence and creativity and your ability to see life in a whole other way.

Thanks so much for the faves and the watch~!! :boogie: :glomp:
I hardly meet others that know who the Decemberists are. Also, Miyazaki FTW! I want to cosplay Sophie or something like that. Also also, YOU WATCH TRUE BLOOD, TOO?!
Let's see if I have this right... the Decemberists are amazing, Miyazaki is a genius, I think it would be awesome if you did some Miyazaki cosplay (personally I'd love to see you do Kiki), and True Blood has me hooked! I was so upset that they showed a repeat this past Sunday. :(

Did I get the order right? What do I win? :P

lol What do you win? How about an old super nerdy pic of me in a makeshift closet Kiki cosplay? XDDDD

I don't know what I was thinking when I took this. Note the BLEACH sword and Naruto kunai.

I know, repeats suck!!! At least Lafayette is alive, he's my favorite character. Also, Jason Stackhouse is so stupid it's aggravating.
Hahaha! Awesome! Your expression is priceless and I love the pink fuzzy slippers. Thanks for that! :XD:

YES Lafayette! I was so scared because I thought they had killed him off at the end of the last season! He's so awesome! Honestly, though, if I had spent weeks in a filthy vampire basement I think I would have done a considerable bit of dancing around my house when I returned. But maybe that's just me? =D
